About Us
Payless Turkey
Grup Istanbul Turizm has drawn a profile that is not very active in the car rental sector in Turkey until 2004. However, after this date, the great developments and investments made in Turkish tourism were also reflected in the car rental sector. During this period, Grup Istanbul Turizm has expanded its fleet to a large extent. Today as a part of Payless Car, Grup Istanbul Turizm serves with its office network and a wide range of vehicles all over Turkey.

History
In 1971 John Les Netterstron opened the first Payless Car Rental location in Spokane, Washington. Under Netterstron, the company has grown from a local rental car store to a franchise system with more than 100 rental car offices across the United States. In 1987, the company bought the US division of Canada-based Holiday Rent a Car, during which time the company installed the first automated central reservation system.
The first Payless image was created in 1989 and has survived to the present day with only minor changes. Payless opened its first two corporate stores in 2002 and added 4 more stores between 2004 and 2006. Payless also offers prices through travel portals such as Orbitz, Priceline.com, Travelocity, and Rentcars.com.
As of 2008, Payless provides car rental services with more than 10,000 vehicles at more than 80 locations in 20 countries.
